
Camera TroubleShooting
Sorry that you are having issues with your camera, Usually it is a simple fix. Here is a list of the most common issues.
1. Make sure you are using the correct app, OKAM-Pro or ICSee. There should be an instruction manual inside the birdhouse that will tell you which app to use.
2. Make sure you are typing in the correct wifi password and **make sure you are connected to your home wifi on your phone not your phone data**
3. Make sure that you are connecting the camera near a stable source of wifi and not outside for the first time install
4. Most issues with scanning the qr code can be solved by resetting the camera. Please refer back to your model's youtube video to figure out how to reset your camera and make sure to get a new QR code once your camera is reset.
**Sometimes the connection issue is the SD card installed next to the reset button. If your camera is not connecting, try pushing on the sd card to pop it out and resetting the camera and connecting it without the SD card.**
5. Camera not turning on? These cameras can be charged by unplugging the solar panel and using a USB-C charging cord.
6. Camera's charge only lasting for a few days? I am incredibly disappointed to say that my camera manufacturer shipped me several units with faulty batteries for the OKAM-Pro cameras. Please send me a message through my contact page and I will be able to replace them for you.
7. Trouble seeing inside the birdhouse? The OKAM-Pro models come with a soft light to be able to see inside. The ICSee models are able to use their nigh vision to see clearly inside. For daytime use, either turn the birdhouse into a nesting platform by removing the front entryway or put the birdhouse in a brighter spot on your property.
